CODie at the SMM 2012

As every 2 years in September, also in 2012 the biggest event in the shipping industry will take place again. This year, the SMM 2012 exhibition in Hamburg will celebrate it’s 25th anniversary.

In hall B6 at stand 402, CODie will present the recent changes to our well-known martime software suite.

The CODieBOARD# supervision-center, support-center and isman-center software programs have been significantly extended by further modules and functions.

For ship newbuildings, the CODieBOARD# supervision-center now also handles the plan approval and block building phases. Furthermore, a new module covers all aspects of handling insurance cases for the fleet in operation. A new module for sea trials enables the offline use of the system while the vessel is built at shipyard.

The maritime CODieBOARD# support-center now provides a fully automatic vessel client that helps to reduce the workload and to ease the communication both on board and in the shore office.

Along with many other new features, Version 17 of the planned maintenance software CODieBOARD# isman-center is now able to assist the users in dry dock preparation, provides an improved overview on the status of the managed fleet, and helps to ease the entire procurement process in the shipping company.

All of the above new software functions have been designed and developed in co-operation with our customers, who have implemented the software on board more than 300 vessels.
