Some 20 years after its first edition, Class NK has recently released an updated version of their “Good Maintenance on board Ships”, covering new and updated standards, regulations and techniques.
The guide comes along included check lists and procedures and is very helpful both in the shipping company as well as on board vessels.
The 5 chapters plus annexes provide many tips, hints and advises, along with pictures, check lists and tables, on the following main topics:
- Routine Maintenance
- PSC Inspections
- Safety Management System
- ISPS
- MLC
We feel that these guidelines are very helpful for our customers to to set up and regularly check a planned maintenance system, e.g. in our CODieBOARD# isman-center.
