9. April 2014Crew planning made easy – with automatic scheduling of time slots and suggestion of suitable crew members, our crew planning module is the easiest way to man your vessels in time and properly.
While the scheduler produces fixed time slots for a predefined interval (e.g. one year in advance), the assignment function will filter everyone who is available for a particular sea service. Overriding functions and additional filters allow for an easy overview on your entire crew pool, so you can e.g. also search for possible promotions, or look up crew members who have already been assigned on other ships, where the assignment has not been confirmed yet.
If the system cannot find a seaman for a time slot, the automatic “Crew request” function informs your crewing agents in time on the vacancy, and asks for corresponding suggestions.
Automatic warning functions keep you informed on due assignments and available positions in your fleet.
The graphical crew planner ensures that you always have a detailed overview on the crew status of your vessels at a glance, and saves a lot of time when looking for suitable crew members.
