16. April 2014Our CODieBOARD# support-center software is used for various fleet support activities in the Nautical, Technical and IT Departments. It keeps track on all service and support requests, the communication and arrangements, the budgets and current status of each single request.
An example is the renaming of a vessel, where the arrangements could look like this:
After a while, while the support case is in progress, all details will be available at a buttons click, including eMails, attachments (like e.g. offers from service companies), and response from the vessel:
Also, the costs of the case will be taken into account for your vessels or overall budget, so you always have your service budgets in control. Once the vessel reports that all necessary service has been rendered, you can close down the support case, but still have all the information in the service file on hand for later review and evaluation.
Thus it is easy to generate e.g. vessel or fleet service overview, or to compile a maker-specific overall defects and service report for your fleet in preparation to a meeting with your equipment manufacturer.
