One of CODie’s software scopes is a system for supporting and coordinating newbuilding teams on-site in the shipyard(s) as well as the management team in the central head office. As we are currently integrating our existing newbuilding software platform into the CODieBOARD# maritime-management-center, we had a closer look into the changes and innovations over the past decade. This article describes the most significant developments we found, and provides an outlook on the promising future of shipbuilding.
